Brindle Block Paving Driveway in Nuneaton

Here are some before, during and after pictures of a block paving driveway project, completed by Summit Driveways in Nuneaton.

Our first step was to dig out all of the original pathway and lawn. We put down a new membrane sheeting layer on top of a soil base. We topped it with a type 1 MOT hardcore base afterwards.

Then we installed new flat top kerbing across the front and set it in concrete. We laid the driveway in a 45 degree Herringbone pattern, using Marshalls paving bricks in Brindle with a double Charcoal / single Brindle / single Charcoal border.

We also fashioned a new doorstep following the same pattern.

Imprint Concrete Driveway in Nuneaton

Take a look at some before, during and after pictures of an imprint concrete driveway, completed by Summit Driveways in Nuneaton.

First we completely dug out the existing driveway to make a continuous level. Then we built a new retaining wall on the side.

We also put down new flat top concrete footing across the front of the driveway and poured down a bit of tarmac to level it with the public footpath.

After that we laid a new hardcore foundation with a membrane and compacted it down. For an easy access to the house, we built a 3-tiered step with bricks to compliment the house's facade.

Finally we poured down the wet concrete mixture in Charcoal colour and imprinted a cobble pattern onto it. Our very last step was to apply a gloss finish to the whole project.
